The University
of Georgia Cooperative Extension Service laboratories exist to
support Georgia clients with accurate analysis for objective decisions
and problem solving related to agriculture, horticulture and the
environment.
We conduct tests on a wide variety of materials including soil, plant, water, animal feedstuffs, animal wastes and many others.
Samples must be submitted through the County Extension Office. The County Extension Office can provide proper sampling and submission instructions and in most cases will return results along with applicable recommendations.

Fayette County Extension Service is a partnership of The University of Georgia,Fayette County Government, Fort Valley State University, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. It exists to serve all the people of Fayette County.
Educational work is conducted in the fields of

- Family and Consumer Sciences,
- 4-H Youth Development.
Relevant and timely programs are planned specifically for Fayette County. These programs are planned by citizens, Extension personnel and county leaders.
